This campaign for the Orange Bowl Committee promoted the college football playoffs through a set of three HTML5 animated ads and one supporting .gif ad. One of the featured pieces shows a crumpled piece of paper unfolding to reveal a flyer-style design with a football player, combined with animated writing and sketch elements.
What made this project especially fun was the challenge: the original assets I received were low quality, including a grainy player image that looked like a photocopied flyer. Instead of fighting it, I leaned into the aesthetic, building an old, gritty paper effect that matched the raw, hard-fought spirit of football. The end result turned a limitation into a defining creative concept.
